1980 Baltic 39 medium displacement, high performance yacht

This Baltic 39, built by Baltic Yachts in Finland, is designed by the C&C Design Group as a "medium displacement, high performance yacht". The classic lines of this cruiser/racer, the materials used en the Finnish craftsmanship make it a unique yacht. The traditional flush deck makes for safe handling or maneuvering offers space and comfort inside.

This boat is equipped for long distance blue water cruising and live-aboard. In 2008 the sails have been replaced with battened Quantum cross cut dacron sails. The mainsail is dropped and stored using the Quantum maindrop systeem. The battened HA jib is equipped with a white UV strip.

The two-part sprayhood has been replaced in 2008 and provides comfort in the cockpit at sea or at anchor.
This boat was delivered without a teak on request of the first owner. The topsides have a layer of International Interdeck non-skid paint applied (2008). Teak was applied in the cockpit (2008) together with a collapsible cockpit table..

All navigation equipment has been replaced over the years and includes speed, wind, depth, radar, GPS and NavTex. Additionally, an AIS receiver was installed. The autopilot with linear drive is attached to the rudder and includes a rudder reference sensor and flush-gate compass.

This blue water cruiser is in good condition and ready for new adventures, vacations or weekend aboard.

  • engine has been serviced and saildrive seal replaced
  • rewired navigation equipment using a multiplexer
  • sails have had professional maintenance and cleaning
  • applied a new layer of anti fouling
